That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
John 3:6-8
Such a beautiful encouragement to me today. To feel the freedom of being born of the Spirit and the movement of the spirit being a part of me. That even when I don’t understand what’s going on (from where it comes or where it’s going) it’s all a part of being born of the Spirit and the movement of God in my life.
I hope this is as welcome a re centering for you as it was for me. I need to keep in perspective how much of my life I am in control of by choices and how much of it is the free, incomprehensible, movement of God.
