Blogtober… I’m going for it!

That time again. And for me, the first time!

Blogtober is that fabulous time of year when all the beautifully skilled writers who flood the internet take to developing their craft by posting their handywork EVERY SINGLE DAY! I am going to try my skill and throw in with them!

It’s blogtober. Already. And I’m going to try to keep up the pace as a writing challenge to myself. Considering I just took a whole month off and spent the last two days working on blogging stuff and came out of it with two posts, I am not liking my odds. None the less, I’m gonna try.

a couple things

For today I would just like to say how glad I am for the community I have found that is so supportive through all kinds of social media outlets and here on wordpress. I had no idea of what I was becoming a part of when I began this journey a little more than a year ago, but I am so glad that I did.

Blogging has become this great outlet for me to be able to say all the things I am always too afraid to say. I don’t have a voice among the people I know because I’m too afraid to let them get to really know me. I build walls and self protect. Thank you to all those who have heard me here, and still care to come back. You have truely taught me that I have something worth saying, even if it doesn’t sound like what everyone else is saying.

The second thing that I was expecting even less from this experience was genuinely loving so many people that I have only met through their writing! I have so much to learn from the wonderful people who chose to share themselves through this venue. Thank you so much for sharing yourself and all that your experiences have taught you with me!
